Alexander recently competed in the annual concours in Paris, France and won FIRST PLACE! This means that he was awarded a LIFE TIME CONTRACT with the Paris Opera Ballet! Approximately 230 male dancers auditioned, and Alex made each final cut.

The dancers perform the pre-selected routine for a panel of judges, which is made up of their peers within the company. There are anywhere between 9-14 judges, most of whom are advanced dancers and the Artistic Director of the Paris Opera Ballet company. To receive this lifetime contract, the dancer must receive at least 7 first place marks, and Alexander won all 7 first place marks!

Before performing with the Paris Opera Ballet (on three-month term contracts), Alex danced with Boston Ballet for four years.
